  The Short Story Contest is ...BACK!!! Theme: Hope Lives Here . & Yes, we will still have the Speech Giving Contest   Eligibility: Each school is to present a contestant for the short story contest & a contestant for the speech-giving contest. Speech giving: In 5 minutes, each contestant is to explore the theme "Hope Lives Here" in the context of National Unity intertwined with advocacy for Abstinence and expunging Comprehensive Sexuality Education from the School Curriculum. Five finalists will contest and thereafter qualify for a pick-and-talk session, where the 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions will emerge. The Short Story Contest 2022 THEME: 'MY BODY, MY TREASURE' ( a counter response to the dangerous elements in Bodily Autonomy being propogated by NGO's, local & International. These dangerous elements include LGBTQ+ Ideologies, teen acess to contraceptives, propagation of premarital sex, rights to abortion, e.t.c) The contest was open to secondary school students, school leavers & undergraduates. Meet our Awesome Judges: Judge 3- Mr. Abiodun Oloyede

Mr. Abiodun Oloyede was born some 5decades ago in Ibadan. He had his primary education at st James's Primary sch  Oke Bola, Ibadan. He proceeded to Origbo Community High Sch, Ipetumodu for his secondary education. Thereafter, he gained admission to the University of Ife to study Dramtic Arts in 1981 and graduated in 1985. He served the nation at the Kano  Educational Resource Centre, Gwandu Albosa, Kano between 1985 to 1986. He later had a masters degree in Literature from the  University of Ibadan. He started his public career at The Poly, Ibadan in 1990 as an Administrative Officer.  He was also a pioneer staff of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree in1992 where he rose to the position  of Acting Registrar in 2013. He presently works with the College of Technology, Esa Oke. Mr Oloyede is a writer and has a number of publications to his credit. Mr. Alkasim Abdulkadir is an international freelance journalist  and communications strategist. He has worked as a content producer for BBC Media Action and covered stories for CNN International, BBC World Service and as a media fixer for Aljazeera and CCTV. His pieces have been featured in Guardian UK and Radio Netherlands. He won the 2012 Future Awards for Excellence in Journalism Award and is a member of the Presidential Committee for Victims Support Fund VSF. Teen Short Stories Contest 2020. Pen publishers publishes healthy meals for the minds that read. In addition to publishing books, Pen Publishers organizes short story contests for teens. The society is filled with various forms of immorality among youths. Youths are in a suitable position to advice their peers to build a moral community by ensuring that their chastity is their pride, no matter how 'out of fashion' it is made to appear.
